Community Enrichment Services
The goal of the Community Enrichment Division is to provide the necessaryservices that will prevent homeless, hunger, child abuse, neglect, and Mental Illness. James 2:15-16 illustrate the need to care for our brothers and sisters. James says “If a brother or sister is naked, destitute of daily food. And one of you says unto him, depart in peace, keep yourself warm and well fed without giving him the necessities for the body, what good does that do”.
Case Management Services – Rapha Families Services provides Case Management services to the families in Liberty City, Little Haiti, Over-town, and North Miami. Families are provided with referrals for community services, such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, Housing, Utilities, Disability, etc.
Parenting Program – The Parenting Program seeks to teach parents the necessary skills that are paramount in enriching the lives of their family members. Rapha Family Services, Inc. utilizes the Nurturing Parent curriculum, which has been proven to teach parents how to be successful in raising their children. It is an evidence-based curriculum consisting of a pre-and post tests and pre and post observations.
Queen Esther’s Mentoring – Based on the Book of Esther, the program is dedicated to mentor and train young girls, ages 8-18 years old about effective communication skills and emotional competence. We focus primarily on girls who are in Foster-Care. The program accepts referrals from school counselors, Social Workers, and other Community Providers.
