Within the past seven years, Mrs. Brown has founded four organizations, two for-profits and two non-profits. In 2004, Mrs. Brown and her colleagues co-founded the Association of Haitian Social Workers, which is a volunteer organization in the state of Florida. AHSW is a non-profit, professional association; founded on October 1, 2004 as part of a response to the flooding in Gonaives, Haiti. AHSW has since taken on many more national & international causes as part of its effort to bring attention to the plight of the underserved, disenfranchised, and under-represented Haitians in South Florida. In 2007, Mrs. Brown founded Rapha Family Services, a non-profit social services agency serving Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Rapha Family Services, Inc. is a 501- (C) (3), Private, Non-Profit Social Services agency. The agency is dedicated to improving the lives of families by providing them with the necessary tools needed to succeed; such as Individual and Family Therapy, parenting classes, family mentoring, Queen Esther’s Mentoring, referrals, Case Management Services and Humanitarian Aid to Haiti. In 2010, Ms. Brown founded Anneze Brown Consulting, LLC, which serves as a consulting company for small businesses, churches, leaders, and individuals that desire to establish a social services agency. Ms. Brown is currently completing her Doctorate Degree in Ministry at the University of Fort Lauderdale and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. |
